And, the Bloggers are. . .
Ayn and Sam Gailey are heavily mortgaged in Los Angeles where they toil as professional TV/Film/Book writers and own a film location business. Ayn also interviews celebrities and makes fun of herself (sadly, this is very easy to do) in her relationship column (“Sex y LA”) for Tu Ciudad magazine.
Ayn and Sam are only able to do these things, plus watch six hours of Tivo (who has time to not forward thru commercials?) per week, and enjoy their baby daughter Gray without collapsing from exhaustion because of the cool tips in this blog.
How this Baby Blog Was Conceived. . .
CoolBabyTips! is based on our belief that Happy Parents Make Happy Babies and was conceived as a response to all those baby advice books that dish out useless information or tips that are so unspecific that you don’t even know where to start. Like, ‘Make sure you get rest.’ Sounds great, but WHEN do I find time to rest? Or, ‘Breast feeding and pumping is much easier if you are relaxed.’ No kidding, but HOW do I relax? Or, ‘Feeling isolated? Join a Mommy and Me Group.’ I would love to, but WHERE do I find one? And, some as vague as, ‘Try a different bottle if baby has gas.’ Yes, but WHICH bottle should I try?
Our friends nicknamed our list Tips Every New Parent Should Know* * That The Other Blogs, Books, and Bores Don’t Tell You!
We hope these creative, easy, fun tips, collected from parents, nannies, and midwives around the world, make your life less stressful, less exhausting, and less complicated so that you have more time and energy to enjoy your new baby!
Don't forget: It really does take a village:
