Looking for greeting cards with a little more custom design, but can't afford the hip designs at Mango Ink.com and don't know a thing about photoshop's Illustrator? You'll be happy to learn that if you have a few computer skills and some creative ideas, you can create your own custom greeting cards using photos, scanned images (think your baby's favorite illustration, a patch from their blankie, the material from a special outfit), at a fraction of the cost of designer cards. Just buy The Print Shop program for the Mac at an Apple store. (Sorry, PC users, we don't feel comfortable recommending the program to you because we have gotten really mixed reviews on the co's latest pc version.) The examples posted here were made by Cool Baby Parents from photos, scanned fabric, book art, and a child's finger painting!
